TOURISM GUIDELINES & PROTOCOLS

General guidelines

  • Baguio City is under General Community Quarantine (GCQ)
  • ECQ in NCR+ areas has been extended. Allowed travelers to Baguio from the said areas shall be limited to Authorized Persons Outside Residence (APOR) and essential workers only (still subject to testing requirements and triage protocols) until April 11, 2021.
  • Temporary liquor has been implemented until April 10, 2021.
  • Curfew is from 10PM to 4AM the following morning (not applicable to essential workers)
  • Persons below 15 years old shall stay in their residences at all times, except when necessary for highly indispensable purposes or to access medical services. Immunocompromised persons, pregnant women, and persons over the age of 65 shall also stay in their residences at all times, except when necessary to report for work, or to access indispensable goods and services.
  • No operations for indoor tourist attractions.
  • Food and beverage establishments with dine-in services such as restaurants, cafes, eateries, fastfood, canteens and the like shall operate at maximum 50% capacity.
  • Tourism and hospitality-related establishment including hotels, inns and other accommodation establishments: Maximum of 50 % of capacity for checked in guests, ancillary services such as restaurants, cafes, canteens, eateries, gyms, salons, spas and other personal care establisments.

Non-resident traveler requirements:

  • Valid government-issued ID
  • Duly issued VISITA QTP, which can be obtained by registering
  • Negative RT-PCR or Antigen test result conducted within 72 hours prior to entry to Baguio or have themselves tested at Triage 2 of the Central Triage – Baguio Convention Center (Antigen test: P350 for Baguio residents; P500 for non-residents and tourists)

Registrants at https://visita.baguio.gov.ph/ are directed to process their applications at least twenty four (24) hours prior to entering the City. NO QTP, NO ENTRY.

While in Baguio

  • Follow existing minimum health and safety protocols and city ordinances while in the city.
  • Wearing of face mask and face shield is mandatory.
  • Observe physical distancing.
  • Wash / sanitize hands.
  • Comply with the tourist establishment's and venue's allowable maximum capacity.
  • Avoid enclosed and crowded areas
