Tourism Guidelines

Movement Guidelines

  • Baguio City is under General Community Quarantine (GCQ) but non-essential / leisure travel to Baguio City is currently suspended starting July 31, 2021, for seven (7) days, but may be extended, changed or revoked. All pre-issued QTPs for tourists scheduled on said dates are considered cancelled.

General Guidelines - Once Tourism Resumes

  • The city is limited to 3,000 tourists per day with an ETA reservation system on a first-come first-served basis. Strictly no QTP no entry at the border.
  • RT-PCR (swab or saliva) negative test result is required within 72 hours prior to arrival in the City for ages below 18 and above 65.
  • Travelers shall submit themselves for health assessment at City Triage Units.
  • Curfew is from 12 midnight to 4AM.
  • Liquor ban will be imposed from 10pm to 10am.
  • Children below 15 years old must always be accompanied by adults. They may not be allowed entry in some private establishments.
  • Vaccinated or not, the minimum public health standards and protocols must be followed at all times.

Non-resident Traveler Requirements - Once Tourism Resumes

  • Valid government-issued ID
  • Duly issued VISITA QTP, which can be obtained by registering (the QTP will be presented at the border for verification)
  • Baguio City now accepts full-dose vaccination card or certificate as an alternative to a negative COVID-19 test result. Individuals are considered fully vaccinated two (2) weeks after the completion of all vaccination doses required. Individuals vaccinated outside of the Philippines must present Certificate of Quarantine Completion, showing holder's vaccination status.
  • For individuals who are not fully vaccinated: Negative RT-PCR or Antigen test result conducted within 72 hours prior to entry to Baguio or have themselves tested at Triage 2 of the Central Triage – Baguio Convention Center (Antigen test: P350 for Baguio residents; P500 for non-residents and tourists). Note: symptomatic travelers or whose antigen tests with positive result will be refused entry or be referred to the nearest health facility or directed to return to their place of origin.

Registrants at https://visita.baguio.gov.ph/ are directed to process their applications at least twenty four (24) hours prior to entering the City. NO QTP, NO ENTRY.

While in Baguio

  • Follow existing minimum health and safety protocols and city ordinances while in the city.
  • Wearing of face mask and face shield is mandatory.
  • Observe physical distancing.
  • Wash / sanitize hands.
  • Comply with the tourist establishment's and venue's allowable maximum capacity.
  • Avoid enclosed and crowded areas
